Crane Worldwide Logistics, a Texas-based logistics solutions provider, has announced logistics footprint expansions in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.
Among the new sites is a Midlands warehouse facility. Situated near Birmingham airport, the site will comprise over 66,000 sq ft of warehouse space.
Also included in the extension are schemes in Ireland, South Africa, and the Netherlands, as Crane intends to match the “considerable demand” for space in the EMEA region.
Jason Stretton, regional vice president for EMEA at the company, said: “Our goal has always been to position ourselves according to our client’s needs.
“Due to the urgent need for flexible global supply chain partners, we have seen considerable demand for additional warehouse space in the region. Given our integrated logistics service offering, we are growing with our clients.”
Keith Winthers, CEO at Crane, said that the “size and scope” of the business is vital in providing the “flexibility needed in this changing environment.
He added: ‘With our best of class purchase order management system, Pinpoint, alongside our visibility tool c-view, we continue to offer the fastest order to consumption transit times.”
