Gefc UK has appointed Cédric Chacon as its new managing director.
Chacon has been a part of the Gefco Group for 20 years, the last 10 of which have been spent working as part of the UK team where he focused primarily on the overland network and warehousing and reusable packaging business units.
In his new role as managing director of Gefco UK, he will also now take on the responsibility of leading the UK’s Air and Sea division and drive greater integration between the two businesses.
Chacon has spent the last 20 years developing his experience in contract logistics services within the Gefco group. He was recruited by Gefco whilst studying logistics operations at the University of Aix-Marseille and held various operational roles in the overland division across facilities in Dijon, Marseille and Lyon.
