Unipart has extended its partnership with Kubota, the tractor manufacturer, for an additional five years.
The logistics company services 120 dealers and 187 delivery points nationwide for Kubota UK, and in the last few months Unipart has introduced digital technology to further improve performance.
In 2020, the company faced the additional challenge of supporting the agricultural sector throughout the pandemic, with the introduction of safety measures and digital technology on sites.
Claire Walters, Unipart Logistics’ chief commercial officer, said: “We are delighted to extend our partnership with Kubota UK for another five years. The partnership is a great example of how Unipart works with a customer to continuously improve performance, and deliver outstanding service to our joint customers.
“I’m really proud of how our team stepped up in response to the pandemic to maintain service and safely meet customer needs in challenging circumstances.”
David Hart, Kubota UK’s managing director, said: “Unipart Logistics has shown strong performance throughout the contract and we’re pleased to extend our partnership for a further five years. Through working together we are meeting stretching targets to deliver outstanding service to our customers.
“We’ve seen significant disruption in the marketplace over the last few months, but many of our dealers that have multiple franchises have commented that the Kubota parts have stood head and shoulders above many of their other providers in both reliability of delivery and constantly high performance in picking the right parts first time and maintaining the high standards throughout the pandemic.”
