Whistl has announced its plans to move into a new 78,000 sq ft dept at Bristol Patchway in 2021.
The site, which is currently under development ,will be used for the company’s business mail and parcel collection, as well as sortation operations for the South West.
Despite having a depot near the site, Whistl will transfer its 170 team members to Bristol Patchway next year, in order to further improve current operations enabling a more efficient working environment.
The new depot will also allow the delivery management company to reduce its environmental footprint, using the latest heat and power technology and improved insulation.
Nick Wells, CEO of Whistl, said: “We are looking forward to our move in 2021 to a new site which will provide an enhanced working environment for our colleagues in Bristol.
“This investment demonstrates our commitment to the South West and to ensuring that we continue to provide an efficient and cost-effective service for our customers.”
