Glencar Construction, a contractor that specialises in the creation of turnkey facilities, is set to commence the development of three sites across the UK before the end of the year.
The projects, based in Northampton, Dartford, and Witham, belong to a hat-trick of contracts won by the firm worth over £20m.
The Northampton development comprises a 130,000 sq ft logistics unit that is being developed at GLP’s G-Park site.
Some 177,000 sq ft, spread across five units, has been acquired at the Dartford site, while a two-unit warehouse scheme in Whitham totals 45,000 sq ft.
The contracts represent a major step forward for Glencar, who will be working alongside some of the industry’s “most prominent and respected developers”.
Eddie McGillycuddy, managing director at Glencar, said: “We’ve continued to make significant advances this year in the industrial and logistics sector securing a succession of major contracts for some of the industry’s most prominent developers.
“We’re delighted to announce these latest contract wins and to be working for the first time with GLP, Wrenbridge and Tungsten Properties – three of the industry’s most prominent and respected developers who have chosen Glencar to develop these key new schemes.”
