Tungsten Properties, a mid-box industrial and warehouse developer, has pre-let its entire Essex development to the Amazon stationery supplier, OMG How Cheap.
Three high specification logistics units totalling 45,000 sq ft will be custom-built for the online retailer, with construction due to be completed in July 2021.
OMG How Cheap was founded in 2011, and sells its products through online sites such as Amazon and eBay.
David Field, managing director at the firm, said: “This is an exciting time for the business which has seen phenomenal growth over the past ten years and we are delighted to have secured new premises at Tungsten Park in Witham.
“The move to Witham forms part of our plans for the next ten years which will see turnover treble and the opportunity to generate further employment locally.”
Tungsten’s total warehouse space under construction has now reached 675,000 of the firm’s 2m sq ft committed pipeline.
Justin McVeigh, associate development director at the company, concluded that the project is “testament to the location, product, and continued demand” for logistics space from online retailers.
